Yes, that's not new.
SpadeEye is up on the list since more than 1 year.
In fact an old SpadeEye version is prohibited, not the latest one...
When i was about to release PokerStars support for SpadeEye I added a very first version to SpadeEye.
(The old customers will most likely remember)
PokerStars Gaming Commission told me they don't like the SpadeEye ability to "datamine" (even if SpadeEye is unable to datamine PokerStars).
Thus i released a seperate version for PokerStars called "Telescope".
You will notice Telescope is officially allowed by PokerStars:

Nevertheless the "old" SpadeEye version (which is no more existing) is still on their list,
but it is no problem to use the latest SpadeEye versions, as SpadeEye does not support PokerStars anymore.
